EA has revealed the athlete that will headlining this years incarnation of the annual Madden series - and of course be a candidate for the infamous Madden Curse. It is no other than the New England Patriots tight end Rob "Gronk" Gronkowski, famous for scoring lots of touchdowns (more than basically any other tight end ever) and celebrating them by spiking the ball. And it is exactly this "Gronk Spike" pose that adorns the cover.
