Unknown Star Wars RTS is reportedly old and cancelled

It might have been called Star Wars: Outpost, and claims say it was "90% complete".

Yesterday we reported about a new video that had appeared on the Internet of what was supposedly a new strategy game based on Star Wars, that had not yet been announced. Now new information about the project surfaced thanks to Eurogamer, which states that this game could have been Star Wars: Outpost, a strategy game for PC and mobile platforms that was cancelled before it was announced.

The site states that Outpost was one of the victims of Star Wars moving over to Disney after the mega-deal with Lucasfilms, which eventually forced the closure of several projects, like this Outpost and Star Wars 1313. The same source said that the game was "90% complete ". The video has since been removed after a request from Electronic Arts, which is also somewhat curious.

No official details have been released about this project.
