As previously reported here on Gamereactor, the next two mobile titles from Nintendo will be based on the Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing franchises. Now, though, according to a new statement from the company that's working with Nintendo on these mobile titles, DeNA, both of the games will be free-to-play.
According to an interview in the Wall Street Journal with DeNA's chief executive, Isao Moriyasu, the next two titles will be free, but will contain micro-transactions for the players who want to invest.
Both games will reportedly be available this autumn, and according to Moriyasu will be more traditional games, compared to the more social heavy Miitomo.
