It has been known a while in the hardcore community, but now it is becoming common knowledge, that Street Fighter V suffers from input lag. And it is no less than eight frames in the PlayStation 4 version (can be avoided on PC by turning off V-sync).

This might not have a lot of effect for casual players, but for the elites it means they have to guess and predict what buttons to press since the opponent started his moves eight frames ago.

Now pro members of the community have started to react to this, and demand that this is fixed. People like PG|Filipino Champ, RB|Snake Eyez and UACDMani has already voiced their opinions on the subject. The problem is that adjusting this now will probably cause an uproar amongst those who have learned how to play with this in mind and need to relearn the game.

Not an ideal situation for Capcom that sold way less games than expected, which is something we reported on yesterday. The fact that Capcom rushed the game to the market instead of really polishing it is becoming more and more obvious.

Thanks, Eventhubs.
