Late last night, Battlefield 1 was announced, and we were as stunned as you by the massive battles, cool set pieces and fresh ideas. This will indeed be something very different from the recent and increasingly sci-fi leaning adventures we find the first-person shooter genre.

Only Xbox One has been shown so far since Microsoft has a deal in place, seemingly like the one Activision has with Call of Duty and Sony. We expect timed exclusive DLC and a week's head start with EA Access or similar to be announced during Microsoft's E3 press conference next month.
