Lego Dimensions has been out for several months already, but there no signs of Warner Bros. slowing down on releasing add-on content. The game has a system similar to that of Disney Infinity and Skylanders, allowing you to buy physical figures that in turn can be used in the game.
Now we can plan for at least one more after a listing for a Supergirl Lego Dimensions figurine appeared on Lego.com, shortly before being removed. This confirms that we will be seeing Supergirl among the next set of releases. A little while ago, footage popped up of Supergirl and fellow DC hero Green Arrow as playable characters. This footage has since been removed.
The chief difference between the Supergirl figure and previous figures is that this one has a gold base. This could mean a number of things; it could be the colour of the second year of releases, or Supergirl could be a promotional or limited edition figure.
There hasn't been much word yet on what will be coming in the second year for Lego Dimensions, although there are rumours that we will be seeing some Harry Potter, ET, and A-Team figures at some point.
