Although this year has started slowly, it seems that the second half of 2016 will be much more interesting for PlayStation 4 players. In a recent interview with the French newspaper Challanges, Philippe Cardon, SCE Europe's vice president, discussed expectations regarding the releases coming to Sony's console, starting with The Last Guardian and Gran Turismo Sport.
Here's what Cardon said (translated from French): "[2016] It will be an important year for Sony and for PlayStation 4's owners. Uncharted 4, Sony's pearl for 2016, will be released shortly, and there will be other major launches such as Gran Turismo and The Last Guardian, and of course PlayStation VR".
Although he didn't get specific, we believe that the Gran Turismo he was referring to was Gran Turismo Sport, which was announced last November at Paris Games Week (it should be noted that it's going to be a different experience to the main GT series). As for The Last Guardian, the oft-delayed title seems to have been once again confirmed for a release this year, something that many doubted since the game has disappeared from radars once again.
