New screenshots and renders from Nier: Automata

Platinum Games collaborates with Square Enix.

Nier: Automata, the upcoming continuation of the cult favourite JRPG from Square Enix, sees a couple of new screenshots and renders released.

The screenshots show the game's derelict, industrial environments, where as the renders show the new new androids in the game, YoRHa No. 9 Type S and YoRHa Type A No. 2.

Interestingly, when the title was announced back at E3 2015, a 2016 release window was revealed, but this has now disappeared from both the press release, as well as the game's official site. It now says "to be determined". We interpret that as "likely not 2016".
