Dark Souls III is off to a great start in terms of sales on PS4, Xbox One and PC since the game launched. It's the publisher's biggest launch, but so far, we haven't gotten any solid sales figures. Queue SteamSpy, a service that tracks the amount of players playing a game on Steam with reasonable accuracy (most developers who have commented say it is very close to actual numbers). Last Friday the tracker noted 528,000 active copies of Dark Souls III, which is a great success for From Software and Bandai Namco.
We're still awaiting official numbers from Bandai Namco, and it'll certainly be interesting to see how the game is faring on PS4 and Xbox One, we suspect it is likely already in the multiple millions overall.
