Earlier this month AMD revealed its latest earnings report. Some of the details they gave there indicated that we'd see multiple console launch this year, and during last night's quarterly financial conference call the company got even more specific.

According to Ars Technica, AMD's CEO, Lisa Su, said that they are working on three gaming-related system-on-chips that will all launch by 2017.

When asked about what they were for she just replied: "I don't believe that we've gone through any details on what those wins are. So I would prefer to let that come out as our costumers are ready to launch."

So what are these SOCs for? We've heard rumours of both the Nintendo NX, PlayStation 4K and a new Xbox One being released sooner rather than later. We've said it before, and we'll say it again: this E3 is going to be very interesting.
