Little is known about the next project from Sony's Bend studio (best known for Uncharted: Golden Abyss and the Syphon Filter series), but if Twitter user and serial source Shinobi602 is to be believed, its first home console game since 2004 will feature a rare mix. Let's take a look at the oddly phrased tweet:
"DEAD scavenge, we survive
DON'T fear them, on metal & bikes we drive
RIDE, don't run, the apocalypse is good fun
#DeadDontRide #SonyBend", Shinobi writes.
The keywords here are obviously Dead Don't Ride, which seems to suggest a game where you fight off a fairly harmless zombie apocalypse in a vehicle, or something to that effect. As reported by Dual Shockers though, Shinobi has later disclosed that we're not talking about a racing game here.
Shinobi has proven himself to be a reliable source of information on many occasions, leading us to believe that he's on to something here. Furthermore, the domain "deaddontride.com" was registered by Sony back in 2014, and stuntwoman Jade Quon lists the title "Dead Don't Ride" on her resume.
Hopefully we will see something more concrete in regards to Dead Don't Ride soon, which is most likely under development for the PlayStation 4, maybe even something for PlayStation VR.
