Starpoint Gemini: Warlords released into Early Access
The newest title in the Starpoint Gemini series, developed by Little Green Men Games and published by Iceberg interactive, launched in Steam Early Access today. Entitled Starpoint Gemini: Warlords, the game is a combination of action, space-sim, RPG and strategy.
The title aims to expand upon the previous title in the series, Starpoint Gemini 2, which was in Early Access for some time before getting a full release. It has a large, active fan base who gave lots of feedback that was implemented in Starpoint Gemini 2, and Warlords has much of this feedback implemented too.
Warlords currently contains some new but sought-after features not in the previous game, like giving the player the ability to build headquarters and a giant space station that lets you store your fleet and construct ships. As development goes on, we can expect to see the ability to research ships, weapons, structures and HQ modules. Warlord also claims to be almost ten times bigger than its predecessor.
It is available in Early Access on Steam for £19.99, discounted during the first week by 10% down to just over £17.
