Destiny's community chief, DeeJ (who we spoke to earlier this week), has shared a few details regarding the April update over on Bungie.net, during which a couple of issues were highlighted that have arisen since the chunky content drop landed the other day.
Interestingly, at the end of the post, the next major update for Destiny was also mentioned, which is due to land in the autumn.
"The next point on the horizon is an update we're cooking up for the Fall. I've seen it. I'm excited about it. I will say no more... For now," he teased.
"Hopefully, the ramp up to the April Update served up some proof that we love speaking at length about new Destiny content, once it arrives at its final form. Later on this summer, we'll show you the scope, scale, and flavor for the next challenge you'll face."
Of course it's not unexpected that details are thin on the ground, but at least we know something is in the works. Publisher Activision had previously mentioned that we'll be getting a major expansion for Destiny this year. Whether the publisher was referring to the April/Fall updates, or something akin to The Taken King, remains unclear. What we do know is that a full sequel is planned for next year.
