There are a few licenses that have never really been given a proper videogame treatment despite being seemingly ideally suited for games. Superman springs to mind, and the Terminator is another. Despite some decent efforts most of the Terminator games have been awful.
The game will be based on the upcoming fourth movie - Terminator Salvation - in which we will get to see how John Connor (played by Christian Bale) takes on Skynet's vast armies of mechanical killers. The game will be a third person action game and the player will step into the shoes of John Connor.
The game will be published by Evolved Games in co-operation with Equity Games and distributed by Warner Bros, who are also publishing Grin's other movie title Wanted: Weapons of Fate.
No platforms have been announced, but Grin's engine runs on PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 so it's a reasonable assumption that it will be out on those formats. The game will be released in conjunction with the movie (May 2009).
First Angelina Jolie and now Christian Bale. Grin are keeping good company.
