People who has worried about the performance of the console versions of Blizzard's upcoming Overwatch can seemingly stop doing that now. Digital Foundry has benchmarked both versions and reveals that they are both running in crisp and silky smooth 1080p/60fps.
The resolution is dynamic, so in really hectic scenes it is lowered to maintain the framerate. This seems to be working really well and Digital Foundry writes that the only time it lowers on Playstation 4 is when switching to kill camera and for Xbox One the frame rate holds at 60fps "99 percent of the time".
You can pre-download Overwatch now for Xbox One, both the regular version and the Digital Deluxe. We suspect the PlayStation 4 version will be made available for pre-order soon as well.
