"Donut Drake", this slightly bigger version of hunky adventurer Nathan Drake, has been sort of a standing joke throughout the Uncharted games. This will, however, stop with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, where he will not be making an appearance.
Talking to Gamesradar Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann explained that they have outgrown this kind of humour: "I didn't want to have a laugh at someone's expense. I thought we'd matured beyond that. We had a big debate about it and kind of approached it from all kinds of angles and decided we weren't comfortable having it in our game."
