No, the game isn't even out over here yet yet, but eager gamers in Japan or with access to a Japanese copy of the game have been playing it since March 24h, and they are already getting quite proficient at Dark Souls III. As reported by PCGamer, a speedrunner called Jung Ho Min has put down the game's final boss in 1:42:10.
This shouldn't however be seen as a sign that the game is too easy. After all, the original Dark Souls was completed by fan using a Guitar Hero guitar as a controller. It just goes to show how dedicated some of the most elite Dark Souls players are. This world record will no doubt be bettered in the weeks to come multiple times.
