Details on Sucker Punch's Infamous 2 are expected to surface at this year's E3 fair, but it does appear some details have already surfaced from Game Informer magazine. According to the magazine, Infamous 2 will be released in 2011.
In addition to this, we can expect a much more emotional and personal followup to 2009's sleeper hit. We will be able to visit a new city as well as be introduced to a relatively new Cole Mcgrath, the superhero from the first game.
The plot revolves around a new enemy called The Beast, who strikes fear in Empire City and Cole, leading to the game's protagonist needing to retrain himself again. Some of the new superpowers include ionic vortex, a power which creates a tornado. We've also been promised a deeper and improved melee system.
A subtler Karma system, larger bosses and a more refined camera system are some of the new features that make Infamous 2 a title worth keeping an eye out for. More details are sure to be revealed after Sony's press conference tomorrow.
