During GDC 2016 in San Fransisco, the annual Game Developers Choice Awards was held, where developers themselves get to celebrate the previous year's best titles.
This year The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt took home the Game of the Year award, finishing above other nominees Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Bloodborne and Rocket League.
You can see the full list of winners below, as well as the winners of the Independent Games Festival Awards, where Her Story took home the Seumas McNally Grand Prize. In fact, you'll notice that Her Story picked up several awards across both the GDC and IGF ceremonies, making it this year's stand-out title.
