Ever wanted to play as yourself in a video game? Of course there's character creation tools that allow us to make avatars that have a similar likeness, but for most of us playing as ourselves is simply something that'll never happen.
On the other hand, for sports people, controlling yourself in-game is an everyday reality. One such example is Ronda Rousey, who appears in UFC 2. When Rousey was asked about playing as herself in-game, the fighter had this to say:
"It weirds me out to see myself and play as myself. I've never played as myself. I don't like being not as in control of my body as I should be. I don't know all the buttons to like counter a double (leg takedown) with a Harai goshi. I'd do it in real life, but it'd be really hard (in the game)."
UFC 2 is set to release on March 15 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We'll have our review ready for you soon.
