During a recent conference call with investors, CD Projekt RED unveiled their plans for the future, at least until 2021.
For this year, as we already know that the Polish outfit has planned to release a new highly anticipated expansion pack for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Blood and Wine, and they will continue to promote the game at least for the rest of this year.
What immediately caught our attention was a reference (in the document that you can see below) to a new game that, as stated, will be a "new type of a video game format previously unexplored by the Studio."
Of course at this stage CDPR aren't talking about upcoming projects, but it's still interesting to hear that they're building on their current success and branching out in new directions.
In addition to this, the studio also revealed their plans for the next five years - 2017 to 2021 - a period that'll see the release of Cyberpunk 2077 and a new unannounced RPG AAA game. The studio are also keen to bring their franchises to other media (probably film, TV and comics).
