After the closure of Lionhead Studios and Press Play earlier this week, a lot of fans has been worried about the first party support for Xbox One. Phil Spencer took to Twitter to comfort fans and says there's really no reason to worry.

One guy was worried there will be less AAA titles now and more smartphone game experiences on PC and Xbox One with the Windows 10 initiative on games. Spencer replied: "That is not our plan at all. We want to support the biggest games possible."

Spencer also said he can't comment on why they closed Lionhead but promises full first party support: "It's impossible to go into all the detail and I apologize for that. Just know I'm committed to our 1P."

Another person commented on the fact that the number of Microsoft Studios have shrunk with the cancellation of Lionhead, but Spencer says there is no need to worry and promises more new IP going forward: "I'm proud of the games our 1P Studios have shipped on XB1, our plan is continue to build new IP and expand our franchises."

Yet another person asked when we'll get to see more from Crackdown 3 and other new games, and judging from Phils answer, there is reason for PC and Xbox One gamers to look forward to E3 and Gamescom: "Given where we are on the calendar our focus on news now will be our launches with new news on upcoming games at the summer shows."

Thanks, Dual Shockers.
