We've been curious about what the killer app for Valve's SteamVR and HTC Vive would be, and it seems it may be the Aperture Science approved The Lab.
Described as "a compilation of new VR experiments", The Lab offers "multiple ways to enjoy room-scale VR". The Lab is set in a "pocket universe of Aperture Science" and thus there will be connection to Portal presumably. We assume that the Aperture Science themed demo from that first presentation of Vive at last year's GDC is part of the experience. The game will be made available free on Steam this spring.
