During the weekend, we finally got the first launch details for the upcoming VR headset, HTC Vive. The price tag is massive €899 / £689, but it is a piece of high-tech equipment, and if the Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson is to be believed - it is better than Oculus Rift.
Yesterday he tweeted: "It makes me happy and just a little bit spitefully so that the HTC Vive is so much better than what I've seen so far of the Oculus Rift."
Notch previously critised Oculus Rift after the company was snapped up by Facebook, when, according to the Minecraft creator, they forgot about all of the people who made the unit possible with their own money on Kickstarter. This is obviously something he hasn't forgotten.
