So far, PlayStation VR has been shown in conjunction with the more traditional use of the DualShock controller or the PlayStation Move, but if a new patent filing is to be believed, the Japanese company may be looking into other ways of interacting with VR games.
Three new patent for a Glove Controller has been dug up by Reddit user Rösti, and they describe a cuffed glove where various movements transmit directly onto the screen.
The diagrams in the patents specifically depict the user using sign language and holding and interacting with objects.
Sony is hosting a PlayStation VR-centric event in March, so maybe we'll learn more about the device there. Or we'll never hear of it again.. that's also a possibility.
