The Inner World, a point and click adventure from Headup Games and Studio Fizbin, has been announced (and slated for a 2013 release).
The game was born of a student project, but publisher Headup Games spotted potential in the title and are supporting the recently formed indie studio in their efforts to release the game.
The game is set in "Asposia", a world existing in a giant hollow space, surrounded by soil and ventilated by wind fountains. When the wind fountains run dry players assume the role of Robert, join forces with a thief called Laura, and head off to solve the problem and return life to normal.
The game has classic 2D point and click stylings, and will be released on PC, Mac, iPad and iPhone in Q2 of next year.
