It's not easy being Nintendo. After the launch of the Wii U the company struggled financially for a long time, and just as thing were looking up again, the firm has been hit by more troubles. More specifically the company have cut their annual projections in half due to poor sales of the handheld 3DS console, as well as the impact of a stronger yen currency.
As reported by Bloomberg Business the estimated net income will be 17 billion yen ($151 million) by the end of the fiscal year on March 31st. This is a whopping 51 per cent lower than the previous target of 35,2 billion yen.
Lets hope the announcement and release of the NX console, as well as upcoming mobile games, will turn things around again...
