Arktos Entertainment and Hammerpoint Interactive have just launched a website for their recently announced MMO, The War Z.
The project has already generated quite a buzz. Since the game's announcement on July 19 there has been considerable interest. Within 24 hours over 100,000 gamers applied to participate in the closed beta for the zombie survival MMO.
The game is set for release on PC in autumn 2012. You can see the shiny new website right here.
"The response in the first week since we announced the game has been incredible and it's totally inspired the team," said Eric Nordin, the senior game designer working on The War Z.
"We've been following all of the comments on the various forums as well as our Facebook page and it really validates that we're creating something that gamers want to play. We're going to continue working hard and make sure we deliver the best game possible!"
