The biggest news of the day is that Star Wars: The Old Republic is going free-to-play.

It has been confirmed that Ada Wong will be a playable character in Resident Evil 6.

EA has announced that Origin now has over 21 million users.

Baldur's Gate-eqsue RPG The Inquisitor is now entering into closed beta.

Dead Space 2 joins the list of impressive titles free to download for Playstation Plus subscribers.

Another free-to-play title is hitting the PS Vita. This time it's Guardian Hearts Online that will be available to download for nowt.

Borderlands 2 is set to ship with a "Gore Toggle", meaning less "bloody chunks" for those of squeamish disposition.

There's also some Far Cry 3 multiplayer details to found on the site.

The market tells EA that The Old Republic is not the type of subscription gamers are looking for.
