Capcom have adressed concerns over the ongoing server issues that Street Fighter V is suffering from in a blog post over on Capcom-Unity.

It details some of the improvements and tweaks made thus far and notes that matchmaking now works as intended. The Battle Lounge has also been improved, but work is still ongoing to improve it further. There is also a number of other reported issues with Battle Results, Replays, Ranking and Rival Search that are being looked into and adressed. If you want to keep track of what's going on with the Street Fighter V servers Capcom have created a Twitter feed with the sole purpose of keeping players up to date on server developments.

Capcom also took the opportunity to reiterate their plans for Street Fighter V in a press release stating that "We would like to assure players that the initial purchase you make for Street Fighter V is definitely the only one you need to make to ensure you have the latest version of the game, as content including the additional characters is earnable for free and the Cinematic Story Expansion, for those of you who want an in-depth single player story mode experience, will be added into the game for free in June. There will be no Super, Ultra, Hyper or Turbo editions of the game. Street Fighter V is it."

There you have it. We do enjoy playing Street Fighter V, but as you can read in our review we felt the content was a bit thin at launch and while Capcom promises free content for the future there's no way for us to consider that as we review what is there now.
