Today's update for Counter Strike: Global Offensive has brought about lots of new content. Operation Wildfire is on sale via the Steam community market for around £5, and brings in new quests for you to complete whilst playing, the opportunity to unlock better gun skins whilst levelling, and access to the Operation Wildfire case.
The new case features sixteen new community created weapon skins and a brand new knife, named the Bowie Knife. The update has also added seven new community created maps to casual and competitive play, so players getting tired of playing Dust II over and over might possibly see some variation.
Perhaps the biggest news coming from this update is the re-addition of Nuke to the competitive playlists. Nuke is one of the oldest Counter Strike maps, being introduced in 1999, and as such has become somewhat outdated in its design. It was removed some time ago from the more serious playlists, but has been re-added as of today with a whole new look, and some tweaks to the terrain.
All the details regarding the content update can be read on the official blog here.
