A game developed in Iran is releasing early next month, thanks to the recent lifting of trade sanctions on the region. Developed by Merge Games, this is the first game to be released from Iran, and it won IndieDB's Best Upcoming Indie Game back in 2013. This will be the first of (hopefully) many games to come out of the country.
The game is being developed in Unreal Engine, and it's a fast paced sci-fi FPS, set in a universe where aliens invade Earth and, naturally, the player must defend against them at all costs. Apparently we'll come up against a variety of enemies and do battle in many different environments, and the title will also feature multiplayer and 'Brutal' modes.
E.T. Armies will launch across Steam and other digital stores where it will cost €14.99 / £10.99 on March 3.
