Rocket league developer Psyonix updated the game this week, adding an update that bans you temporarily from ranked play for altering the game files in any way. You'll be unbanned if the files are restored, though, so there isn't too much to worry about.
It seems this update was added to stop people from deleting the 'Wasteland' map from their files, preventing them from getting it in their games. Players would tend to do this because Wasteland is somewhat different from the other ranked maps, and it's not the style that many have perfected their skills for.
In other news, Rocket League released on the Xbox one today, with lots of exclusive content including a Warthog from Halo and the Armadillo from Gears of War.
It was also announced today that the game has reached eleven million downloads, which is quite the feat considering the ten million milestone was hit last month.
Rocket League is available on the Xbox store for £15.99, and includes the previously released expansions Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run.
