Yesterday we reported, that in an interview with Fox News, GameStop CEO Paul Raines, announced that PlayStation VR's launch window was set for autumn 2016, and not in the first half of 2016 as initially suggested by Sony.
That's why GameInformer contacted the Japanese company to get clarification on the matter, and Sony denied the statements made by Raines, saying that it was just a speculation:
"GameStop was speculating, and we have not released any further details on launch timing" a Sony representative told the site via email.
Although Sony has denied the launch window as being next autumn, they have yet to mention any official release plans for their VR device. We look forward to more official information.
