It has been billed as the year of VR. Alongside Oculus and Vive, Sony will release their VR headset this year, but we still don't know when. The company has been saying that PlayStation VR will launch during the first half of the year.
In an interview with Fox News, Paul Raines, CEO of Gamestop let slip an interesting detail regarding the possible launch of PlayStation VR.
"We will launch the Sony product this fall", he said when talking about the different virtual reality headsets.
So maybe Sony needs a bit more time, or perhaps they feel that there are better market conditions later in the year. Maybe they need more time to ready the first wave of software, or perhaps it's a simple misunderstanding.
