Despite the fact that Hitman is out in a month, there are still some glaring questions regarding its structure that are unanswered. Publisher Square Enix has now gone and explained a bit about the game's upcoming PS4 exclusive beta to Videogamer, and the most interesting takeaway is, that while the beta will require a constant internet connection to run, the full game won't.

"Yes you can play the full game offline after you have downloaded an episode, but there are live elements which you will need to access online," a rep confirmed.

The live elements in question are the game's various contracts, which are downloaded and maintained through online servers.

Hitman launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 11th, but the PS4 beta begins on Friday the 12th and is followed by a beta on PC.
