As part of their financial report Ubisoft let slip that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be release early next year (Q1). Presumably the move was made in order to avoid competition with Call of Duty: Black Ops and other heavy hitters during Q4 2010. The future will have to wait, soldier...
