Team 17, publisher of games like Worms, Alien Breed and The Escapists, has announced a partnership with Studio Happy Bee to publish Way to the Woods. The game is being produced by Anthony Tan, an Australian teenager who began to grab attention with this project, drawing praise from the likes of Sean Murray (of No Man's Sky fame). Way to the Woods is a third-person adventure where you will play as a deer and her fawn.
Anthony Tan admitted being inspired by the famous Japanese animation masters, Studio Ghibli, but he also has the support of Jeremy Warmsley (who composed the soundtrack for Way to the Woods). The game was originally scheduled for PC, although Team 17's press release does not mention any release date or platforms for Way to the Woods.
