Scott Cawthon has had a great deal of success with his creepy horror games in the Five Nights at Freddy's series. In fact, over the course of one year he produced four games, and added on a fifth shortly after called Five Nights at Freddy's World. This was an RPG based on Five Nights at Freddy's, and it has received very favourable ratings on Steam.

However, an 87% rating was not good enough for Cawthon who also took into account the negative reviews. This has resulted in the game being pulled from Steam, and in an open letter the game's creator is encouraging everyone who bought the game to get their money back.

"I've also asked Valve to make it so that the game can be refunded regardless of the amount of the time it has been owned, meaning that anyone can get a refund at any time. It may take them a while to set that up, but it will be in place soon."

The game is not cancelled, though, as Cawthon will keep working on it until he's satisfied. When that time comes, he will make it available for free on GameJolt. This is also why he asks the customers to get their money back.

"I'm still going to work on FNaF World and polish it up. I'm busy creating a fully 3D overworld for the game. When I'm ready to update the game, I will replace the demo currently on GameJolt with the full game. From this point forward, the game will always be free."
