The first few weekly charts of the year rarely make for much excitement and there is very little movement in this week's chart apart from a couple of "new" releases. Activision celebrates the seventh top spot for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and it is followed by FIFA 16, Grand Theft Auto V, Rainbow Six: Siege and Star Wars Battlefront. Familiar games albeit in a slightly different order than last week. Things get a bit more interesting at sixth where Capcom's HD remaster compilation Resident Evil Origins Collection (remasters of the original Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0) and in seventh where the limited edition season bundle of Life is Strange lands. It's also worth noting that Dishonored: Definitive Edition in tenth makes a massive climb up the charts thanks to price promotion.

As always keep in mind that these charts only reflect retail and does not account for digital sales.
