Co-director Neil Druckmann talked to The Sun about how the events in Uncharted 4 will shape and complete Nathan Drake's story. Druckmann also discussed about how it would be a challenge to bring Drake back after Uncharted 4.

The man from Naughty Dog did not, however, say that it would be the last Uncharted game, but he strongly suggested and re-iterated that it will be Drake's last outing.

"He's at the height of his popularity, so it's not a good business decision. But I feel like the best way to honour him is to go out on top, to finish his story. But with the end of this story, it will be really hard to do a sequel with Nathan Drake," Druckmann said.

Druckmann also stated that Sony owns the franchise and future iterations are still up in the air.

It seems that Druckmann wants to leave Uncharted and work on something else, a sequel to The Last of Us, a new Jack and Daxter or something new entirely. Either way, we look forward to finding out what.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is set to release on April 26 for PlayStation 4.
