Fallout 4 made to look like Fallout 1

For those who long for an isometric perspective.

Since Bethesda bought the rights to Fallout, the series dramatically changed its perspective from isometrid view to the first person/third person mix of The Elder Scrolls. But >Reddit user Yttriumtyclief has found a way to make Fallout 4 look like a modernised version of the very first game in the series.

Unfortunately, it's not playable this way for long since tweaking the .ini-files seems to disrupt the game. Yttriumtyclief writes:

"It falls apart once you try to enter combat though, or do really anything else besides walking around outside. It also won't work indoors simply because of how 3D environments are created."

Fortunately, a couple of screenshots have been grabbed, and it does indeed look lovely.
