Development is coming along nicely by the sounds of it.

The development of the long-awaited Final Fantasy XV is coming along well by all accounts. So well, in fact, that the game can now be played from beginning to end.

This was revealed through a roadmap by Environment Artist Kitade Satoshi, which was posted on the game's forums. Because the forum post is in Japanese, here is a rough translation of Satoshi's text:

"I was ready to play the entire game until the ending from opening. Development staff everyone was able to share the whole picture of the game by this. In other words, you can polish each element from here, or by adjusting the play elements, and the whole game, we can say ready and to finish a variety of content at a high level."

The game's final release date is supposed to be revealed via a big event in March, so expect more news there. The game also has a history of appearing during Sony keynotes, so maybe we'll see more during the PlayStation Experience press conference later this week?
