Some days ago, Bethesda Game Studios were proud to announce, that Fallout 4 is their "most robust and solid release ever". But of course there are still some minor bugs. The studio has now released a new beta patch, version 1.2.33 via Steam. It sorts some minor usability concerns, and also fixes a number of known bugs and issues.
Fixes
- General memory and stability improvements
- Fixed issue where equipped weapons become locked after completing Reunions
- Fixed issue with When Freedom Calls where the quest would not complete
- During Confidence Man, fixed issue where player's health would continuously regenerate
- Fixed crash related to jumping into water and reloading saved games
- Fixed issue where Launcher would not save God Rays Quality setting properly
If you want to install this beta patch, Bethesda recommends to have a backup of your save games - as it is a beta and not a final patch. Then you proceed to the settings for Fallout 4 in Steam and select "Beta Update" in the Betas tab. Then Fallout 4 should be listed as "Fallout 4 [beta]" in Steam library. If you want to cancel this go back into the menu and select "None" in Beta tab. More details area available over on Steam.
