The hunt for a director to helm the upcoming Tomb Raider movie reboot seems to have reached its conclusion, as Hollywood Reporter can now confirm that Roar Uthaug, the director behind the Norwegian disaster drama The Wave, will direct the upcoming reboot.
Coincidentally, the writer behind the upcoming Transformers 5, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, seems to be in negotiations to pen the script.
Plot details are sealed tight for now, but apparently the reboot will once more focus on Lara Croft's first adventures.
