Square Enix and Dontnod Entertainment have announced plans for a retail release of the critically acclaimed Life is Strange (read our review). Not only is the episodic game now getting a physical release for the first time, but the retail version will also come with some neat extras.
"The response to Life is Strange really has blown us away," explained Luc Baghadoust, producer at Dontnod Entertainment, "to be able to share that experience with our fans in a traditional boxed format is something we're really excited about and the decision to include the extra items for the Limited Edition is a direct response to fan requests."
The limited edition retail version includes director commentaries, the soundtrack, as well as a 32-page artbook. This version of the game will see release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on January 22 next year.
