Pascal Pictures lands film rights to Zoe Quinn biography

Crash Override details how Quinn dealt with fought against "Gamergate".

Amy Pascal's Pascal Pictures have secured the movie rights for Crash Override: How To Save The Internet From Itself, Depression Quest creator Zoe Quinn's biography on the Gamergate controversies she found herself in. The book will be published by Touchstone/Simon & Schuster in September 2016.

Deadline reports that Rebecca Angelo and Lauren Schuker Blum have been lined up to adapt the story to the silver screen, while Amy Pascal and Rachel O'Connor will act as producers.

It's obviously early days, but according to The Verge Scarlett Johansson is interested in portraying Quinn in the upcoming movie.
