Take Two have announced that 2K China are porting Sid Meier's Pirates! to the Nintendo Wii for release this fall. The original remade game was developed by Firaxis and released on PC back in 2004, while the original original dates back from 1987!
Sid Meier had the following to say about it (via the press release):
"We are big fans of the Wii and think Pirates! is the perfect game to bring to that platform. We're sure Wii fans will enjoy the timeless adventure of being a pirate captain on the high seas as much as all of our other fans have!"
