Documentary offers insight into how Shenmue was made

Fifteen years since the game was released in North America.

This summer the Kickstarter campaign for Shenmue 3 ended very successfully. It managed to raised $6.33 million for Yu Suzuki and YS Net to develop the much requested sequel.

Today it's exactly fifteen years since Shenmue was first released on Dreamcast in the West (North America), and to celebrate this the team has released a documentary about the work that went into making the game. The show was originally aired on television in Japan during the summer of 1999 and is now resides over on YouTube.
