Ubisoft has announced that the number of digital game sales is rising at lightning speed. During the last six months a whopping 48.3% of their revenue came from digital sales, that's an impressive increase of 27.8% since the same period last year. It could even be that in the same period next year, retail game revenue will drop behind digital sales for the publisher, especially if Ubisoft can continue to grow the revenue generated by their free-to-play and mobile games.
